I thought the third episode of “Acolyte” was good. The first two episodes were an acceptable start.

Unless we’re going to only have live action TV shows or movies that tell stories during the timeline of the Skywalker saga (which in that case they’ll need to recast beloved characters), we have to let Lucasfilm build out the universe for other eras.

“Acolyte” may potentially be a significant show in that it gives other writers and directors a starting point for developing additional stories and creating new characters that further enrich Star Wars mythology.

I enjoyed the High Republic [Phase 1] books and appreciate the risks taken by Leslye Headland and the crew behind “Acolyte” to breathe new life into this universe.
