Well, let’s just say that there isn’t much people know about the truth since it hasn’t been released.
How about let’s just not do that? There is a lot of truth that we know. A handful of journalists have been engaged in critical work examining allegations and claims for the past few years.
Aaron Maté recently won an award for his journalism. I’d recommend this piece for anyone who casually suggests “there isn’t much people know about the truth,” as a way to not engage with a lot of what we already know.
But your assertion that the Russia angle is false is in disagreement with our National Security experts whose list of links on the subject would overwhelm the site

I draw your attention to this paragraph:
Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes’ book, Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign, describes how the U.S. intelligence community gave the campaign a “godsend” in October, when they alleged the Russians were responsible for hacking into the Democratic National Committee. Their conclusions were viewed as “hard evidence upon which Hillary could start to really build the case that Trump was actually in league with Moscow.”
I accept that 17 U.S. intelligence agencies concluded there were people at least tied with Russia that were involved in hacking into the Democratic National Committee. I did not bother to call that into question in my report.
To the more general notion that the Russia angle is false, I merely quoted Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who we know now was unable to “establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”
It is possible Trump campaign members were dupes. Maybe they were stupid. Maybe they let individuals with links to the Russian government manipulate them. We’ll see, but that was never the reason why an investigation was launched. The reason an investigation was launched was to find out whether the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government to help them beat Hillary Clinton. It is now clear that did not happen, whether obstruction of justice occurred during the investigation or not.
