I saw “Challengers” several weeks ago, and I agree with you that some scenes would’ve been better without the score from Ross and Reznor.

Something I did that made seeing “Challengers” different was I listened to the score many times before I finally saw the movie. And it made me think about whether I had inadvertently spoiled the film because I recognized specific loops when they played. It also put me in that mindset of thinking, oh, I like this track, but I’m not sure if it fits here.
