“You didn’t address this argument”

Then maybe I don’t consider that issue to be a “bad faith argument”? It is not necessarily a malicious question to be skeptical of whether Bernie Sanders would be able to accomplish a fraction of the agenda he proposes. Even Bernie accepts that powerful elites and multinational corporations will align against him to suppress his efforts for transformative change.

But here’s where I shoot a, “C’mon man!” back at you. Ever heard of the fierce urgency of now?

Do you ever get tired of constantly thinking in terms of what we cannot do and should not fight for? Would you have had this attitude when black people or women were struggling for their rights? Or when unions wanted an 8-hour work week and the robber barons were opposed?

I at least hope you work for some centrist Democrat, who is going through an existential crisis right now. Bennet, Delaney, Hickenlooper, and Ryan all need reinforcements for the last few months of their campaigns, which are on life support.

Maybe you can help them come up with the next, “You Don’t Have To Yell,” bumper sticker that will give me a belly laugh.

Finally, there’s so much in the guide I wrote that you could engage with. You go at me on something I didn’t highlight. Think this is sometimes referred to as whataboutism. Challenge you to address the arguments I raise or go waste somebody else’s time.
